THE CHALLENGES OF TRANSPORTING CITRUS

Citrus fruits are very susceptible to decay, particularly green mold (Penicillium digitatum) and blue mold (Penicillium italicum) which can easily spread from fruit-to-fruit. Traditional treatment includes fungicide application.
